The East Midland Baptist Association (EMBA) is pleased to announce that it's been able to offer the post of Regional Minister to Ellen Price and to Steve Price; Ellen to be the full time stipendiary RM and Steve to be part time non-stipendiary. Ellen is currently minister of Oadby Baptist and Steve (her husband) has been highly involved moderating in our churches, preaching, doing some conflict resolution. He was formerly Human Resources Director for Barclays Kenya and so comes with a high level of expertise and administrative competence but more importantly a heart for God’s Kingdom and for mission.
The EMBA will be sorting out how responsibilities will be arranged amongst the EMBA staff in the weeks ahead but as Mike is on sabbatical from April to June, it may not settle the routine roles until later in the year. Please pray also for Oadby Baptist as they face their minister moving on and the need to consider their future.
