In the last week of July our church along with Keyworth Methodist and St Mary Magdalene Anglican churches have been enjoying a Holiday Club run on the premises of Keyworth Primary and Nursery School.
71 children have followed this year’s theme of “Polar Explorers” which has turned out to be most apt on the coldest week of the Summer!
We have followed the experiences of the friends of Jesus; Peter, Stephen, Philip, Paul and Timothy and have learnt that we can be explorers for Jesus no matter how many mistakes we make, ordinary we are, how far away we go, how bad we have been or how young and inexperienced we are.
We have all learnt the words of St Paul. “Wear shoes that are able to speed you on as you preach the good news of peace with God” Ephesians 6: 15 (Living Bible)
