Spring Harvest aims to create space for all people to encounter God, to be confident in their faith and to see transformation in lives and communities. It’s an event where everyone is valued and cared for, and where the church is supported and resourced. This with the aim that we go ready and able to serve others, at home and around the world, in the name of Jesus.

The Big Start, morning Bible teaching, live worship, specialist seminars and some light-hearted sofa viewing will be available right through the day. Spring Harvest Home will be available online through YouTube, so please subscribe (no charge) to the Spring Harvest channel to make sure you don't miss this unique week.

The twin priorities of Spring Harvest are to deliver excellent Bible teaching and seek God’s presence through Spirit-led worship. Top Bible scholars will help us better understand God’s word – and gifted lead worshippers will help us honour and draw near to our holy God.

All ages and abilities can learn in their own way, as the event theme runs across the whole age spectrum and throughout the day. The event is accessible for all, with top quality content in children’s and youth programmes and provision for people with disabilities and additional needs.

My Dad died last week, ultimately, like oh so many, of the coronavirus. We hadn’t seen him for over three weeks, and though he was full of years, full of love, and, to the very last, full of humour, his death was untimely. It always is.

It was never meant to be this way.

That’s why, on this day, Jesus gave himself up to death – to kill it, rolled-away-stone dead.
