A big thank you to everyone who brought along their unwanted items at the beginning of October. They've now been handed over to Tools with a Mission which enables people to earn a living and to support themselves.
In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid dependency to self sufficiency is impossible without help.
TWAM started twenty nine years ago, and has since then provided this help by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required in the UK and sending them overseas.
Keyworth Baptist Church acted as a collecting point for all your unwanted items. This is the checklist of what we were looking for. It includes hand tools, power tools, sewing and knitting machines, computers, gardening tools, school books and haberdashery items.
